A SUCCESSFUL team of bowlers has donated its winnings from the last season to a life-saving charity in Burnham.
A SUCCESSFUL team of bowlers has donated its winnings from the last season to a life-saving charity in Burnham.
Burnham Bowling Club handed over a cheque for £90 to Burnham Area Rescue Boat (BARB).
The club recently won the Weston and District Ladies League.
BARB chairman Mark Newman said: "We are very grateful to the team for this kind donation. It will help with the high costs of maintaining our two hovercrafts, The Spirit of Lelaina and Light of Elizabeth.
