A hotel’s plan to increase the number of car parking spaces on offer will be debated on Monday night.

DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House, wants to add more spaces for staff at its Frost Hill venue.

The hotel, which sits on the Congresbury and Yatton border, is seeking planning permission to make room for a further 20 cars.

North Somerset Council will make the final decision on whether the work can go ahead, but the application’s merits will be debated first
of all by Yatton Parish Council’s members on Monday evening.

The hotel has room for guests, two Marco Pierre White-inspired restaurants, a gym and other facilities.

Yatton Parish Council’s meeting is set to begin at 7.30pm at Hangstones Pavilion.

To comment on Cadbury House’s application, visit North Somerset Council’s website and search for case 18/P/2492/FUL on its planning portal.
