Archant

DOZENS of fitness enthusiasts blew off the New Year’s Day cobwebs when they competed in the Hangover 10k race.

The race started at Kewstoke village hall in Crookes Lane, and brought in about £1,000 for Barton Camp, a residential centre in Winscombe which has a range of facilities for both youngsters and adults.

This year’s race, which was organised by Weston Athletic Club, was won by Andrew Chambers, who completed the course with a time of 33 minutes and 14 seconds.
