DALEKS, cybermen and ghostbusters packed the Grand Pier on Saturday to raise money for Great Western Air Ambulance.
The charity is attempting to raise 250,000 to buy a modern helicopter which will be four minutes faster to rescues.
Spokesman Daniel Thomas said: “We checked and the Daleks’ killer death rays were all switched off for the day.
“So although it may be a little scary to see a real-life Dalek, no one was in any danger.
“We hope everyone had fun, and we would like to thank the group Charity Scifi for persuading the real-life Daleks to come along.”
