POLICE are appealing for information about a Weston bar assault which left a teenager with a broken nose.
The incident occurred on August 17 at Regent Street nightspot Dragon Kiss – a venue which already boasts a chequered history.
Only last week, the Mercury reported how more than 130 crimes, ranging from brawls and assaults to drug dealing an knife possession, had been reported at the venue in the past two years.
This latest incident saw a 19-year-old punched in the face while sitting with friends.
Police have since studied CCTV footage to identify a man they think has important information about the incident, and have today (Thursday) released a picture.
Officers want the man – or anyone who can identify him - to contact Samantha Neale-Glinn on 101.
Police have made several attempts to tighten up rules governing Dragon Kiss management in recent months, but their latest effort was thwarted when councillor Roz Willis spoke out of turn during a licensing hearing a fortnight ago.
