YOUNGSTERS from the Highbridge Dreamscheme were out and about on Tuesday distributing posters and giving advice to residents ahead of Halloween.

The children, aged from 8 – 14 years old, delivered leaflets to houses which have previously suffered from incidents of anti-social behaviour and crime over the holiday.

They also distributed posters by themselves to people who don’t want trick or treat callers.

PCSO Claire Finch, from Burnham police station, said: “The young people worked really hard today, and kept in good spirits despite the wet weather. We hope the local community use the young peoples’ advice positively to ensure they have a fun and safe Halloween.”
