THE DUKE of Gloucester will visit a successful business in Blagdon today (Thurs).

The royal guest will take a tour of Yeo Valley Organic, which produces dairy products, and officially open an education and meeting centre at the site.

The facility will be in the newly converted Wills Barn, which is more than 200 years old.

The duke, who is a trained architect, will be able to see how it has been designed to generate its own electricity, produce its own water and be heated by a bio-fuel boiler.

He will also meet children from Blagdon and Ubley primary schools, who will be taking part in practical lessons about the environment and farming practices.

This will be the third time in three years that Yeo Valley Organic has been visited by a member of the Royal Family.
