East Huntspill Church hosted its family summer fair on Saturday.

There were games and donkey rides available, as well as a range of stalls selling arts, crafts, homemade gifts and local produce inside and outside of the church and its hall.

Teddy bears and other cuddly toys were also on sale to please youngsters from the village.

When people had worked up an appetite taking part in all of the fun, volunteers cooked up a storm on the barbecue and there were homemade cakes for dessert.

The event ran throughout the day, but at noon there was a dog show, which saw some people’s pets go head to head to be crowned the best in show.
