It was a busy weekend in North Somerset with Easter celebrations taking place across the district, and a village market had one of its busiest events to date.

Bleadon has a monthly market in its Coronation and Jubilee Halls but its Easter event on Saturday was busier than ever.

Both of the halls were bustling with people who were able to get their hands on some of the best local produce around to make use of during their Easter dinners on Sunday.

Villagers also enjoyed tea, coffee and a slice of cake while catching up with friends and people were able to browse a range of stalls selling crafts, hand-made gifts, art and Somerset food and drink.

The next Bleadon market will take place at the halls in Coronation Road on May 20. It will run from 9.30am-12.30pm.
