One of Burnham's most popular events is set to return this weekend, with the 10th bi-annual food festival billed to be bigger and better than ever before.
The event will take place between 9am and 4pm on Saturday in the town’s High Street, with more than 130 traders set to showcase their local produce throughout the day.
Organisers Beverley and Sarah Milner Simonds host festivals across the county and made their debut in Weston last month.
But the Burnham event is well-established and Beverley told the Mercury she is hoping for good weather as this festival has been organised with visitors’ feedback in mind.
She said: “We are crossing our fingers for more amazing weather at the May food festival, which is fast approaching.
“Plans are well advanced for what will be our biggest and best festival to date as we have built in your valuable feedback.”
