Children at Little Farm Holiday Club defied the recent spate of bad weather by moving their summer celebration inside last week.
They enjoyed some traditional party games, held a limbo challenge and took it in turns to sing karaoke songs.
The children were also treated to a visit from PickAParty, which led them in making balloon models and learning magic tricks.
Leader Ellie Frake said: “The children all agreed it was the best party ever, and when the sun came out just as they were leaving, one of them commented that it was because ‘the sunshine wanted to join in with all their fun’.”
