A BBC producer got a surprise when she was sent to her old haunting ground – Priory Community School – on an assignment.
Former Priory pupil Katherine Smith, who has been producing national news for the BBC for the past 15 years has returned to her roots to film at Priory due to its excellent GCSE results.
She attended the school from 1985-1990 and said: “It was wonderful to return to Priory. It brought back lots of memories but I was really impressed to see just how much it has changed.
“The school is really focused on motivating pupils to reach their potential, making sure they achieve their best.”
