CHILDREN joined scientists in their search for different species at a BioBlitz event.
Year four pupils from Shipham First School searched woodland and rough grassy areas around Tyntesfield to see what they could find during the fun and educational event on May 20.
They found lots of different species of insects, including one type of woodlouse which the scientist, Rhian, knew about but had never seen before.
