BUDDING young gardeners got digging in their school field last week.
Pupils from Wrington Primary School planted 30 small trees which were supplied by the Woodland Trust, a leading conservation charity which helps plant trees, protect woods and inspire people to enjoy nature.
Children enjoyed getting their hands dirty and must now keep an eye on the trees by watering and pruning them regularly.
