COLOURFUL daffodils have been grown by children at two Nailsea schools.
Pupils at Hannah More Infant and Golden Valley Primary schools were given bulbs by Nailsea Horticultural Society in October.
Since then they have been carefully nurturing the flowers.
On March 26, society members Martin and Valerie Davis visited the schools to see how the children had done and to encourage them to enter them at Nailsea Flower Show.
Those with the best specimens were rewarded with an Easter egg.
