THEATRICAL young thespians got their creative juices flowing by reciting passages of ancient plays in Weston town centre.

The budding young performers from Weston College donned togas and golden face masks before heading for the resort’s hotspots to perform extracts from dramas such as Antigone.

The pupils, who are studying for a foundation degree in performing arts, could be seen staging the tragedy, inspired by Greek mythology, at Lovers’ Walk and in Grove Park’s bandstand.
