HISTORY came to life as a Viking visited a school in Shipham.
Shipham First School welcomed Hrothgar, to show them the life and times of an everyday of a Viking settler.
Dressing the children up, he showed them how they fought, lived and played.
The children became Vikings for the day and acted out events and stories.
Teacher Mrs Kenny said “The children had been really enthusiastic and their day with Hrothgar had brought their lessons to life.”
