CHILDREN at a Worle school celebrated the birthday of one of the world's greatest storytellers with a special Roald Dahl Day.

The Worle Community School pupils celebrate his birthday on September 13 every year and book doctors were on hand to give out reading prescriptions for George’s Marvellous Medicine.

There was a selection of Roald’s own revolting food and drink to sample too, which were taken from him rhymes and witty stories.
