YEAR Five and Six pupils at Bournville Primary School were treated to a dance fusion workshop last week as part of the school’s continuing project on Africa.
Around 80 kids joined in the workshop where they learnt about culture, dance and music from the other side of the world.
Pupils have teamed up with a South African school as part of the whole school topic and they are writing to each other to develop a better understanding of each other’s way of life.
Kids have recently taken part in an African cooking taster session and older pupils will perform a stage version of the Lion King next month.
