Students at Sidcot School, in Winscombe, were treated to a visit from author Claire Barker ahead of their World Book Day celebrations.
Claire visited the school to talk to children from years three to six about her career as a professional writer and explained how her she begun the process of writing her famous books Knitbone Pepper Ghost Dog and the sequel, Knitbone Pepper And The Last Circus Tiger.
She is renowned for being a very energetic performer and took that trademark energy to the Sidcot classrooms, where the pupils were full of questions and had the chance to get their books signed by Claire.
