STUDENTS from Worle Community School showed off their best dancing moves at The Playhouse as part of this year’s dance festival.

The pupils performed three dances including a space-themed dance inspired by the Avatar film, a contemporary piece and a crew routine with young pupils from the area.

The school’s dance teacher, Joanne Temlett, said: “I am extremely proud of my dance students.

“They have worked extremely hard during rehearsals and performed brilliantly.

“We are already working towards their next event in June and looking into a schools competition for a combined crew and GCSE piece for the next academic year.”
