PYJAMA-clad youngsters from Portishead returned to school after hours for a bedtime story.
Pupils from High Down Infant School made their way back to the classroom at 6pm as part of their celebration of reading and story telling during school's book week.
Headteacher Andreya Cowan said: "Bedtime reading is such a special story time and the children absolutely love coming back in to school, all ready for bed, to share a favourite book at the end of the day.
"This activity is so well received by pupils that we have made it an annual event for the past three years.
