CREEPY crawlies and unusual insects were studied by kids in Cleeve on Sunday.
Well-known ‘bug man’, Pete Dawson, as seen on CBBC TV show Live ‘n’ Deadly, popped into the village hall as part of an event organised by Yeo Valley Children’s Book group.
Pete, who is trained as an ecologist and in theoretical and practical nature conservation, brought along a selection of insects related to books to show children.
Pete’s understanding of natural history has lead to him to working on a number of programmes for the BBC including Springwatch and The Nature of Britain.
