SIDCOT Junior School’s gardening club took the great outdoors indoors to make wooden bird houses.
Using recycled wood, the children built the houses from scratch. They took one home each and put up a number of others around the school.
Teacher Nicola Havercroft said: “It really was a lovely thing for the children to do this winter.
“Gardening club is very popular and it’s nice that they can do it all year round, and now that their work will be displayed around school they can feel very proud of what they have achieved and learnt.”
