NEW headphones have been funded by a parent’s teacher association in Cheddar.
A donation from the Kings of Wessex Academy’s PTA has been spent on high quality digital headphones for the languages department.
The headphones will allow students to improve their own pronunciation and intonation by listening to authentic speakers.
Subject leader for languages Frau Georgina Rebello said: “Thanks to our new headphones, it is wonderful to conduct a lesson in our dedicated ICT suite with students listening attentively to the phrases and immersed in the language.”
