WESTON schools put their best acts forward in a battle of the bands while youngsters enjoyed dance and free running performances as part of this year's Boomfest.
The two-day festival was held in Grove Park and celebrated the artistic and sport talents of children and teenagers in North Somerset.
The free festival was launched in 2011 and this year the event drew in hordes of people looking to be entertained by its range of weird, wonderful and talented acts.
Boomfest offered a variety of professional and creative arts performances, as well as workshops for all ages.
Youngsters were able to enjoy a street dance and free running show, live music, theatre, film, comedy and poetry performances, as well as graffiti work, BMX-ing, skateboarding, gymnastics, sculpture and art exhibitions.
The event was staged by 5 to 25 in partnership with b-creative, Weston Town Council and North Somerset Council. It is also supported by the lottery-funded Arts Council England.
