A LUCKY schoolboy had the chance to step into his headteacher’s shoes for the day.
Josh Pitt, aged eight, won a boys writing competition at Ashcombe Primary School and the top prize was to take over the reins from Peter Turner.
Josh spent the day attending meetings, organising school photos and he gave out 18 awards.
Josh said: “I had a great day. I was eating mints and giving out stickers. Luckily I didn’t have to tell anyone off.
“It was pretty hard, but if I could do it again I would.”
