Children who walk or cycle to one North Somerset school will be treated to a free breakfast as part of a new initiative.
Locking Primary School has launched a new active travel initiative, and asked pupils to walk or ride to lessons without using a car.
As a reward for their efforts, any pupils who managed this challenge for three out of the five days was invited to have a free breakfast, courtesy of the school.
The youngsters were given the option of toast, cereal, brioche, fruit or muffins.
The school served more than 250 breakfasts, proving the new scheme to be very popular.
