Broadoak Mathematics and Computing College is searching for a new headteacher, with its job advert saying it is in search of an ‘excellent’ leader who ‘wants to make a difference’ to young people living in the town.

The school’s current headteacher Shelagh Pritchard has been in post since September 2009.

It says the school, in Windwhistle Road, is a ‘thriving and popular’ comprehensive, and adds: “We are passionate about raising the standards of achievement and helping in the development of well-rounded, thoughtful students of whom we can all feel proud.”
