BLEADON and East Huntspill parish clerk Bruce Poole became a bachelor again following his graduation from the University of Gloucestershire.
Bruce, who is the National President of the Society of Local Clerks, was awarded his Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree at a ceremony held at Cheltenham Racecourse by the university chancellor the Rt Rev Bishop of Gloucester.
He has been studying for his local policy degree as a part time student for the past six years.
