CLASS six of Oldmixon Primary School enjoyed taking part in a journalism project which has been touring schools in Weston's south ward.
The Cleaner Greener Litter Project saw children learning new skills before interviewing community figures on environmental issues.
Special guests including community wardens, North Somerset councillor Ian Parker, the school caretaker and the headteacher all came in for a grilling.
The following morning the children interviewed managers from nearby shops.
They also arranged for litter to be cleared from the skate park and conducted straw polls to help them draw up an action plan on what should be done with litter in the school.
