Weston College has received a rather unusual donation in the form of a bulletproof vest for its uniformed and public service students.
Safeguard Clothing has ensured the college is well-equipped in order to ‘enrich the students’ learning experience’.
The donation also aims to educate the students, who are looking to establish a career in public services, of the importance of safety equipment.
Rebecca Ranson, curriculum manager for sport and public services, said: “It offers our students a great advantage in acquiring the knowledge and skills they need. This level of corporate and social responsibility enhances the quality of our educational programme.”
