Worle Community School's real game careers day.

YEAR nine students at Worle Community School got a chance to explore career options as they took part in the Real Game.

The challenge saw each student assigned with a job role and they then had to budget for a mortgage or rent, bills and transport. They also had to find out about how they would achieve a work-life balance and discuss different family roles and other career decisions.

Daisy Game was one of the pupils who took part and said: “It has given us an insight into what we would like to do and what GCSEs and qualifications we need.

“If we want something we need to aim for it, otherwise we will never be able to reach our goal.”
