A NEW and revamped family and separate baby room have opened at a Weston children’s group.
Little Waves Community Nursery, based at Windwhistle Primary School, held a family-fun day and garden-themed party to celebrate the completion of the changes.
A North Somerset Council spokesman said: “The new baby room has been transformed from a covered play space area and now has direct access to the garden and full length windows, allowing the children to see the outdoor area and creating a bright and airy indoor space.”
The relocation of the baby room also allows the nursery, in Kingsley Road, to provide a family room so parents can become more involved in their child’s growth and development in the early years. The project was funded by a government grant delivered by North Somerset Council’s Children and Young People’s Services.
