PUBLISHED: 11:00 15 January 2017

Brent Knoll Tadpoles Preschool has improved in its latest inspection and is now rated as good, according to education watchdog Ofsted.

The preschool, in Brent Street, had been told it needed to improve in January last year.

The latest report said: “Leaders have taken effective steps to address weaknesses identified at the previous inspection.

“Children are now kept safer as they are not able to access the residential part of the setting and staff recruitment procedures have been strengthened. Children are confident and co-operate well with each other.”
