A PRE-SCHOOL in Somerset will soon see its playground transformed into a nature hub.
Children at Blagdon Pre-school grabbed their trowels and spades this week ready to help clear up the area before Wessex Water installs a new water resources station.
The station will let the children move water and show them how it flows. Children will also be able to plant seeds in the garden so they can grow their own vegetables.
Carole Cooke, from the pre-school, said: “We are delighted to receive this award from Wessex Water. The children are full of enthusiasm for their outdoor environmental projects.”
