n CHILDREN at a Weston school got to grips with a different culture earlier this week when they enjoyed a nomad experience.
Pupils at Bournville Primary School in Selworthy Road dressed as nomads - travellers who live off the land - and cooked bread above a fire pit, put up tents in the school grounds and set up a gazebo.
The experience, on Tuesday, was part of events designed to give the 85 year three and four pupils the chance to learn by experiencing something directly.
They also enjoyed a mock plane flight to Bangladesh on Monday.
