CHILDREN got to learn new crafts with their families at a space-themed event in Worlebury as part of the Worle Family Zone scheme.

The initiative works with 12 schools in the area and aims to encourage families to do things and have fun together to promote learning.

The crafty space session took place at Worlebury Primary School and children got to learn about space alongside their parents and carers.

The next family zone event is an Italian master chef session and will take place at Ashcombe Primary School on April 22 from 3.45-5pm. To book a place call 01934 529557 or email extendedlearning@worle-school.org.uk
