North Somerset children have been keeping busy at a holiday club over the school half-term, taking part in a number of creative activities.

Sidcot School Holiday Club in Winscombe hosted a jam-packed week of activities for youngsters which kept them entertained – and taught them plenty of new skills in the process.

The holiday club welcomes youngsters during school holidays and put on a range of fun educational activities.

The children spent one day creating their own quirky clothing in a tie-dye exercise, with everyone creating their own colourful garments.

The children also spent time learning pottery skills, creating colourful mosaic pots to take home.

The club members spent another day getting their hands dirty in the garden – learning some basic horticultural skills.

The swimming pool was also busy over the break, with the holiday club pupils making use of the facilities at the school.
