AROUND 50 children flocked to the first ever Lego workshops held on a Weston estate.

The sessions, which were funded by North Somerset Council, took place at Bournville Primary School and the For All Healthy Living Centre library as part of the popular XTND Easter Holiday Club.

Children spent time working with accredited Lego trainer Sarah Turnbull from Outside the Box to explore their creativity, and they made a range of models based on famous landmarks, fantasy vehicles and masks.

Sarah, who runs sessions at schools and organisations across North Somerset, said: “It was fantastic to see so many children taking part. This was the first time I’ve run sessions in the Bournville area and I was really impressed by how enthusiastic the children were.”
