CHILDREN have been transported back in time to the Grand Pier as it was during Victorian times.
More than 3,000 youngsters have enjoyed educational talks about the history of piers in Weston.
General manager Paul Charalambous said: “The children love it, they are amazed by the Victorian bathing huts, where bathers got changed and were wheeled into the sea to protect their modesty.
“The children got to try on Victorian swimwear and had a go at assembling deck chairs.”
