Youngsters in a North Somerset village learned all about a classic children’s story at a stay-and-play session last week.
Yatton Moor Children’s Centre hosted a What The Ladybird Heard-themed session with the help of the national Bookstart scheme, which encourages children to read.
Session organiser Debbie Pope said: “The children read What The Ladybird Heard and then made their own ladybirds in craft and playdough.
“The centre created a farmyard using compost and hay and the children drove the animals around in their tractors.”
