FAMILIES of Bournville Primary School met together in partnership with North Somerset’s Healthy Living Centre Library as part of a story box course.
The course allowed children to go on a bear hunt and meet The Gruffalo in a story telling session to the school’s Early Years children.
Janine Starr, Community Engagement Officer and workshop leader said: “This was a new initiative by the library to encourage parents and children to enjoy books together and to learn more about their local library.”
“The families really enjoyed themselves and it was lovely watching the children perform their stories using all the puppets and props that had made.”
