A North Somerset primary school has signed up to a scheme which it hopes will improve the fitness levels of its pupils.

Youngsters at Hutton Primary School are now taking part in the national Daily Mile scheme, which was created by charity The Daily Mile Foundation.

Every child runs for 15 minutes a day, with the aim of improving their fitness and self-esteem. Unlike a PE lesson, the children do not need kit and run in whatever they wore to school.
