FANS of festive fine dining are being encouraged take a trip to Weston College this Christmas to discover the catering stars of the future.
Level one and two professional cookery students at the Knighstone Campus have designed a Christmas menu and the college’s dedicated restaurant is open for public bookings until December 16.
Dishes include turkey meat stuffed with chestnut stuffing, tied up with bacon then poached and pan-fried, a contra fillet of beef, seafood platters and festive nut roasts.
Training manager Graham Smith, who runs the cookery courses, said: “The menu has been designed by our young chefs and it represents a contemporary take on the traditional Christmas menu.”
