A CHURCH became a winter wonderland last week to help raise money for a Somerset school.
Draycott and Rodney Stoke First School in Draycott Lane turned their foundation unit into a ‘kids zone’ complete with games and a toy stall.
The church was decked out with a sleigh and moving reindeer, provided by Draycott Post office.
Headteacher Cathy Lowe said “We are delighted that so many people attended on Saturday to support us. We raised almost �500 for the school and would like to thank everyone who came to support us, and the many local businesses and individuals who donated prizes and other gifts.”
