CHurchill Academy pupils have been putting their 3D printing skills to the test as part of a competition to win a printing lab for their school.

The contest, organised by XYZ printing, has challenged students from 18 schools to create designs using a loaned 3D printer, with a total of 150 entries submitted by participating schools.

Mark Barham, Churchill’s head of design and technology, said: “There is so much creative talent and potential among our students, and this has been a perfect opportunity for them to explore the world of 3D printing.”

The public will be able to vote for their favourite design at from today (Thursday)
