OVER hundred school pupils enjoyed the thrills and spills of a special film screening at the Weston Odeon last week as part of National Films Week.

137 youngsters from Corpus Christi School in Weston and 10 from Westhaven Special School in Uphill were treated to a one-off showing of the 3D animal adventure film Furry Vengeance on Thursday.

Over 450,000 school pupils attended special screenings across the country as part of the festival, which has been aiming to get young children interested in the film industry.
