GENEROUS customers at Starbucks in Wells and Street have been raising money for a student charity scheme.
Loose change has been collected at the stores to go towards Operation Wallacea.
The project is a once in a lifetime opportunity for year 12 biology students to undergo training and conservation work in South Africa.
A total of 29 students from Kings of Wessex are signed up to go in July 2010 and now have to raise �2,000 each.
