Teacher training courses held at Weston College have been given top marks by Ofsted inspectors.
The certificate in education and the professional graduate certificate in education courses, for people training to teach at post-16 level, were classed as ‘outstanding’.
The mark was part of an inspection of teacher training provision at Bath Spa University, which validates such courses at Weston College, one of its partner organisations.
The report said: “High quality training enables trainees to develop very good professional skills.
“Trainees have reported that they try to emulate the excellent practice modelled by their trainers.”
